On February 16 and 23, the Economic Development Board had organized an information seminar “Poly Goes UAS” in two Polytechnics in Singapore. Students from the other three polytechnics were also invited to join this events. The goals of this program were to provide an overview of the Poly Goes UAS program which involves dual study program and introduce young students to study opportunities in Germany.
Various companies like IFM, Rohde & Schwarz, Pepperl+Fuchs & Mann+Hummel were present. Former PGU students also spoke and presented videos about their experiences in Germany which kept the atmosphere of the hall lively.
Ms. Claudia Finner (Director DAAD Information Centre Singapore) was invited to this event to explain about further academic opportunities in Germany for polytechnic students from Singapore. She explained about the requirements for polytechnic students, student life in Germany in general, answered questions and explained about the dual study options in Germany. Following the presentation students had a chance to converse further and gather some additional information.
