Are you a student in your graduate studies (close to your master thesis), doctoral candidate or a post-doc? Then you should not miss this opportunity! The Centre for Logistics and Traffic (ZLV) at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany will organize a virtual transnational summer school together with the Center for Sustainable Urban Development of the Columbia University (CU) in New York from August 23 to August 28, 2021. The summer school is sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service („Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst“). With reference to the key topic “Sustainable Mobility in Metropolitan Regions: Best Practices“, you will develop innovative and sustainable mobility and logistics solutions for metropolitan regions. International Experts from industry, science and public will provide you with perspectives, approaches and case studies from different research and application fields as basics. The program of the summer school is split up into four working fields which cover the following topics:
The language of the event is English, and the participation is free of charge. Admitted applicants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the summer school!
